Sherwani finds its place in wedding occasions 

It is a new trend to wear the sherwani in marriages. The whole family members of the bride are wearing similar type of sherwanis. The whole family members of the bridegroom are wearing similar sherwanis of another type. This trend is mostly seen in the high and middle class families.

Types of Sherwanis:

There are different fashions in the sherwanis and they may be different in the color, fabric or design. 

The Nehru neck was popular before and now the High neck, V neck and Regular necks are popular. We can select them based on our taste and investment. There is more demand for the raw silk, poly silk and cotton sherwanis. There is more demand for the heavy work sherwanis and there is good sale for the sherwanis made of stones, sarvoski, crystal work, embroidery and other works.

The sherwanis are mostly seen in three types which are full work, half work and panel work. The sherwanis are available from Rs.2000 to Rs.30,000 in the market and few people are getting the sherwanis designed which range up to one lakh rupees. 

The Dhoti and sherwani are available from 3000 to 20,000 and the Kurtha and pyjama are available from Rs.1500 to Rs.10,000. The Reception suits are available from Rs.2000 to Rs.15000.

The sherwanis are mostly available from 38 to 44 sizes only and they will alter the sherwanis for the people of other sizes.

There are three designs in the sherwanis which are Full work, Panel work and Half work. 

There are Nehru necks, high necks, V necks and regular necks in the sherwanis.

Few people are wearing the pearls and breeches with the sherwanis.

Most of the people are showing interest towards wearing the kurtha pyjama and sherwani for marriage and suits for reception.

The mostly liked colors in the sherwani and kurtha pyjama are white, orange, cream, maroon and biscuit color.

There are pant type dhotis for the bridegrooms who don't like to tie the dhoti.
