Sherwani or Achkan is a traditional garment worn by men during wedding. Mens sherwani is uniquely designed for adding glamor, elegance and style so there are numerous sherwani designs. This formal wear is available in different styles, colors and designs. Sherwani for men is of knee length, with buttons in the front.

Mens Sherwani comes in different styles and designs. Embroidered sherwanis are the most popular and are made by using variety of stitches which can either be done by hand or by machine. What makes the designs more attractive are the combination of colors and threads used. Different threads are used in embroidery like silk, cotton, polyester, metallic threads etc.

Jamawar men's sherwani is made from resham and sequins work. Also the neck pattern varies in the jamawar sherwani designs.
Traditional Mens Sherwani
Traditional mens sherwani is made in a very royal style as worn by kings. More zari work and gold color are used to make the traditional men's sherwani. Also in traditional sherwani designs raw silk fabric is used. Zardosi, patch work and stone work along with beautiful and full embroidery on front border, shoulders, cuffs and collar are predominant.
