Shopping Tips to Save money

All of us here are an expert when we talk about shopping! We all know how to shop, where to shop, when to shop and what to shop. But do we really shop like that? Are you an impulsive shopper?
Oh, I am one big impulsive shopper and I end up spending half of my already little salary on everything that I see in the market.
Here, are some shopping tips that can help us save some money and also organize our closet a bit.
  1. Try to arrange your closet once before you decide to go on that big shopping spree. You should know what you own before you go shopping. There is no point piling up the same stuff on top of each other. So, organize and know your closet. This will make home for the new purchases and also tell you what you need to buy.
  2. Before heading to shopping make a list of what you need to shop. Either put it down on paper, in your mind or take notes in your cell phone.
  3. Buy all necessary stuff first. This is why we suggested you to make a list. Shop your list first so that you will go back home contended.
  4. Do not be an impulsive shopper. An impulsive shopper becomes happy on seeing the trendy purchases but reality only strikes when you use what you bought. So, before buying something think whether it is worth the price, if you really need it, if it suits your style and then decide if you should buy it.
  5. Invest in some good and quality undergarments because the right foundation garments can make everything you own look even better.
    1. Spend money on staples and classic fashion.  Always buy good shoes, bags, sunglasses, watch, and formal clothing.
    2. Don’t buy something that you don’t need just because it is a fantastic sale find.
    3. I am sure all of us would have done this but it is a waste of money and closet space.
    4. Online shopping is often the fastest and very pocket friendly way of shopping. So, if you do not have ample time to go out in the market and browse all the shops, open your trusted website and start browsing their different categories.
Shopping is always fun! Shopping is a great stress buster! Rush to your wardrobe and find out what you need and Start Shopping now from our Ads

Tips For Guys On What To Wear On a First Date

Only if anyone knew what their first date would be like, they would plan and make it an “All Perfect” day. The fact however is that the first date is always like playing a lottery; you don’t know what is going to happen and you don’t know what might be impressive. While a girl always knows what clothes to wear, what accessories to put up and exactly what bag to carry, here are a few fashion tips for guys for their first date. So, guys, put up your best foot forward because you only have one impression to cast.
  • Don’t Wear a Suit: She would love to see that you made some efforts to dress for her. Do not turn to your first date in a three piece suit. Whether or not you had time to change after your office, a three piece suit is strictly office attire. Save all of these for the weddings and your boardroom sagas. Dressing formal can impress her but not dressing in a tuxedo, you would obviously not take her to a nearby lounge all decked up in one. So, do not look up at that part of your closet where you stack up all your formal attire and wear something casual for your first date.

  • Cologne: Do not bathe in it! As the old adage goes, “Your woman would like to dance on your perfume and not drown in it”, apply a perfume like it should, just like a perfume. If you are thinking that more the fragrance, more the attraction, then please RETHINK! A little fragrance would be classy and loads of it would only denote arrogance.
  • Get Grooming: No girl would get impressed by an unkept and unshaven guy. We are not promoting anything else except being clean and hygienic here!
  • Blazer: It’s good that you have finally decided to give your office attire a rest but still if you are looking for a bit of formal look, then hop on a blazer on your denims. Not a black blazer at all. Try on w white, red, blue or beige blazer and dress to make an impression.
  • Colors: Let your first tryst with your dream girl go colourful. Try and incorporate colours in your outfit. Whether it’s your shirt, your denims, your blazer or your shoes, try and get colors in them. Girls, do not like boring clothing. Monochrome can be great for a ballroom party but let your colourful side take over you on your first date.
  • Smile: This is the most important accessory that you need to wear on your first date. Smile and carve out a great life together.
While you are preparing for your first date, I am sure our tips would come handy to you. If you have any trouble in deciding what to wear, have a look at our casual collection.

Top 6 Beauty Essentials that a Groom will Love

With only a couple of weeks remaining for your wedding, you need to kick start your beauty regime. No, do not scoff at the idea of getting beauty treatments for yourself. You need to realize that nowadays the groom is given as much importance as the bride. After all, it is your special day too. So, here are some beauty tips which will ensure that you look absolutely dashing on your wedding.
Regular Face Cleansing
The next time you stop by a grocery store; do not forget to buy a face wash for yourself. Clean your face twice a day and you will be really happy with the results. Alternatively, book a spa appointment a week before your wedding and get a facial done. You could go for a regular one or if you are in an adventurous mood, why not give chocolate or gold facial a try?

Hair
Smooth and silky hair can really enhance your overall look, so start taking special care of your hair.
  • Go for a hair spa a day before your wedding.
  • Shampoo and condition your hair daily, and stay away from gels for a few weeks. Hair gels contain silicon which can make your hair look oily and dull.
  • Invest in a high end hair mousse for your special day.
  • When it comes to your haircut, your regular barber just won’t do. Splurge a little and book an appointment with a good hair stylist. Also, be a little careful about your haircut. Don’t do something crazy which you will regret. After all, you wouldn’t want to have a bad hair day right before your wedding.
  • Facial hair is something which you need to be careful about to. So don’t forget to trim your nose and ear hair before your D day.
Your physique
Your physique can literally make or break your look. So, it is time to get rid of your paunch and shed those extra kilos. Get a personal trainer for yourself and start pumping. Cardio exercises are the best way to get a wonderfully toned body.
Shaving
Razor cuts and razor burns are something which you would want to avoid on your wedding. So, invest in a high quality razor or better still, go for professional shaving.
Sweat and bad breath
If you sweat a lot, then you must buy cotton under vest for yourself. It will absorb all the sweat and keep those embarrassing sweat patches away. If you suffer from bad breath then pay your doctor a visit. You could be suffering from halitosis. Get the proper medication to ensure that bad breath does not cause any uncomfortable situations in your wedding.
Manicure and pedicure
Do you have unsightly feet and chipped nails? Well, there is nothing that a good manicure and pedicure cannot cure. They will clean the skin surrounding your nails, make your nails shine and get rid of those painful cuticles.
Teeth
Your pearly whites should be spotless, if you want to look handsome in your wedding pictures. You can book an appointment with the dentist or try out some home remedies. Rubbing lemon juice or strawberries can help prevent teeth staining and ensure that your pictures really come out great.
So these were a few beauty tips for you. Which beauty regime are you following for your wedding? Let us know in the comments column.

7 Wedding Fashion Essentials Jewelry Trends for Groom

“Jewellery shopping is a girl thing” is an oft repeated statement. But is it true today? No, not at all! Men nowadays are fashion conscious and they love incorporating precious stone and metal into their wardrobe. So let’s look at some jewellery trends for men.
Bejeweled Sherwanis
In a wedding, everybody goes gaga about the bridal dress, leaving the poor groom all alone. But this time you can turn the tables around. By opting for a bejeweled sherwani, you can make a unique style statement. You can ask your designer to embellish your sherwani with semi-precious stones. If stones are not your thing, then you can also get your sherwani embroidered with delicate zardosi work which will add to its grandeur.

Young designers are also experimenting with pure silver and gold work on men’s clothes. They create a delicate embroidery pattern on the garment keeping in mind that a lot of grooms don’t really want to wear something heavy.

Brooches
If you don’t want to shell out a bomb for your sherwani, then you should consider investing in brooches. You can simply pin it on your sherwani and jazz it up. The advantage that brooches have over bejeweled sherwani is that they can easily be paired with other outfits. Ornate gold brooches which are encrusted with gemstones look fabulous and can be paired with both western and Indian ensembles. If you are looking for something tasteful, then a pearl brooch will be perfect for you. You can also opt for a pure platinum brooch which is elegant and timeless.
Studs
Studs have made a comeback this year and you can see both Hollywood and Bollywood hunks sporting them. So why not get a pair of diamond studs for yourself. You can sport them at semi formal and casual occasions and also for your wedding. Pearl studs are also popular too. So if you are feeling really adventurous you can wear them for casual occasions.
Turbans
Turbans are an integral part of a groom’s outfit. And now you can add some bling to it by opting for diamond and pearl clasps for your turban. These clasps give your turban a sophisticated touch.

Pearls
Pearls are highly underrated, but men can sport them with great élan. Pearl malas, especially those which are made from freshwater pearls were traditionally worn by Maharajas on special occasions. And you can revive this trend by wearing one on your wedding. Pair it up with a wonderful sherwani and you are good to go.
Bracelets
Salman Khan swears by his turquoise lucky bracelet. He has kick started a trend which is a roaring success. So don’t feel shy to sport one in your wedding. A chunky bracelet embellished with a single stone will really look awesome along with your bejeweled sherwani.
Cufflinks
Cuffs are the perfect companion to suits and are ideal for formal occasions. A groom can go for Platinum cufflinks which look chic yet understated. Pearl and gold cufflinks are popular too and can be worn for semi formal occasions.
So these were a Few Jewelry Trends for men. Which one of these would you follow for your wedding? Do let us know in the comments section.

Talking with the Bride's Family for first time

These are just a few broad points you can try to keep in mind when meeting your prospective in-laws. At the end of the day, it all depends upon your nature and how good you are at communication with people. Little anxiety is natural and it will help you keep on your toes, lest you should forget the latent sensitivity of the entire setting.
Most of the points discussed below apply for first few meets. With the passage of time, you’d all get to know each other better and decide the tone, topics and tenor of conversation. Before going ahead, we assume that you are aware of the significance of dressing properly and observing the etiquettes of social conduct.
(Hopefully) Sweet Sister
Just be naturally charming without flirting or it will appear as if you are hitting on her. Flatter/compliment her a little when occasion allows, so that you’d be in her good books. Talking about generalities like movies, vacations, her work/studies, hobbies, family etc is considered safe. Most of the times it’s easier to deal with the females – you just have to give a lead and they’ll happily oblige in taking the conversation along.
Caution: No staring at all, especially in case the sister is hotter than your intended. Refrain from any kind of sexual comment or compliment. Consider this conversation as one akin to job interview – you’ve to be pleasing and confident but not flippant and excessively casual.
Skeptic Brother
Brothers are overly protective of their sisters and therefore be prepared for some skeptic questions, despite their pleasant countenance. Do not be intimidated by her elder brother and under no circumstances resort to talking about ‘cool’ things like women, alcohol, etc with one who is nearly your age.
Safe topics for conversation include cricket/soccer, business/career/education, future plans etc as the case may be. Keep the talk light hearted and answer questions with natural ease and honesty. Do not come across as high handed or boorish.
Mom – Dad (Her Parents)
Her dad has obviously done a thorough background research about you and your family before agreeing to this meeting. However, it still doesn’t mean that it’s a ‘yes’. Even as you interact with the girl and the others, your behavior is being acutely observed.
When it comes to mom and dad, be confident and respectful towards them. Observe all the social etiquettes you remember. Keep the talk light hearted and anyway, you’ll be answering the questions asked. You would hardly be asking a question in return, right? Talk in the language with which you are comfortable. This is not at all the time to show off.
Chatty Aunts and Stodgy Uncles
Though they may not have any say in the final decision, you cannot afford to be in their bad books. Here’s why:
The aunts will gossip the most about you in the coming days and you wouldn’t want an unhealthy reputation for yourself. Uncles are quite rigid in their opinion. They will be guided by their first impression of your behavior for a very long time (probably rest of their life, if you do not get an occasion to alter that)
Talking to aunts is easy. Keep an amused countenance, answer questions pleasantly and try giving positive opinion over any matter referred to you. Do not smirk under any circumstances and sometimes do make effort to charm them. If your PR skill is good, then it shouldn’t be difficult at all.
This is just a general view of how things are. No doubt there’d be an all-observant, sensible aunt who knows how cowed in you feel and a well meaning uncle with admirable wit.
These entire tips bottle down to same conclusion: It’s simply about saying right thing at the right moment or saying nothing at all.

How to Choose Perfect Sehra for the Groom

A wedding sehra is a very important wedding accessory for the groom. It is associated with the prestige and honour of Indian grooms. They are also expected to carry it with grace and élan. The sehra is also worn to protect the groom from “nazar” or the evil eye. In the olden days, sehras were worn only by royalty. However, things started changing and nowadays nearly every groom is seen wearing one.

The Sehra can actually complete the groom’s look perfectly for the D-Day but only if chosen properly. There are different types of sehra worn all across India. So let us have a look at the two different types of sehras of India.

The Pagri
The sehra is commonly known as pagri in North India.
  • Rajasthanipagris are suited to fairer grooms as its vibrant colours like red and yellow, enhance the groom’s looks.
  • If you have a wheatish complexion then the North Indian pagris, which are commonly available in pink and red, will suit you best.
You can customize the pagri and add a string of pearls or semi-precious stones to give it a royal touch. The material of the pagri can be light cotton or even silk. If the groom likes then the pagri can be customized to match the outfits as well.
South Indian Sehra

The south Indian sehra is basically a veil made up of flowers. It entirely covers the groom’s face and he is not allowed to remove it till the wedding is over. Gold or silver lace is commonly used to bind the sehra together. Modern grooms are not hesitant to experiment a little and opt for embroidered silk bands.

How to choose the sehra?

So, now that you know about the types of sehra, it is time to choose one:

Floral Bliss: When it comes to the floral sehra, be careful while selecting the flowers. Many a time, the fragrance of the flowers can be so overpowering that the groom can start feeling dizzy. Many grooms also get a sneezing fit because of the presence of pollen grains in the sehra. So go for flowers, which have a mild fragrance.
Floral sehras need to look fresh. You would not want to walk around with wilted flowers. So, ask your designer to prepare it three hours before the wedding. Do not wear it on the way to the wedding but only when you are minutes away from the wedding hall.
Simple or Suave: When it comes to choosing the band that holds your sehra together, you can opt for embroidered cotton or silk band, which is studded with stones. If you believe in simplicity then opt for a satin band.
Fight for the right size: If you are planning to go for a pagri, remember to get the size right. Try it on a few days before the marriage. A tight fitting pagri can make you sweat heavily whereas the one that fits looselywill be difficult to handle. After all, you would not want your pagri to fall down when you are bending over for your in-law’s ashirwaad(blessings).

So these were a few tips to choose the perfect sehra for your wedding. Which sehra will you be wearing for your wedding? Let us know in the comments section.

Pre-Wedding Skin Care Guide for Groom

Gone are the days when the poor groom would be standing in a corner while his bride was the centre of attention. Nowadays, being a groom can be fun too. So, here are a few skin care tips for our handsome groom which will give his bride a run for her money.
Identify your skin type

The first step towards beauty and skin care is identifying what type of skin you have. Is it too oily and acne prone? Or is it too rough and dry? Are you lucky enough to have normal skin or do you have a combination of both oily and dry skin? You can visit a dermatologist who will help you determine your skin type. Once you have the answers to these questions, you can start your beauty regime.

Daily skin care regime

Cleansing, toning and moisturizing are the most important components of a beauty regime.

  • If you have oily skin then you should apply astringent to close the pores of your skin. This should be done thrice a week.
  • Those who have dry skin should invest in a good quality moisturizer to keep their skin smooth and supple. If you work outdoors a lot, then a sunscreen with high SPF is a must have for you.
  • Wash your face at least twice a day, especially, if you have been out in the sun for long.
Right Food and Proper Sleep

Oily and greasy food clogs up your system and in turn your skin. Say goodbye to chicken tandoori and stock your fridge with fresh veggies. Olive oil, fish particularly salmon, carrots and green tea are the secret to healthy skin. Incorporate them into your diet and you will be amazed at the results.

Drinking and smoking should also be avoided as they cause dryness. Sleep is also vital for a groom to get rid of baggy eyes or dark circles. Get at least 8 hours of sleep every day. This will add radiance to your skin.
Splurge on a Spa

Do not think twice before emptying your wallet on a spa. After all, it is your wedding and you deserve to be pampered.

  • Opt for exfoliation and facial cleansing treatments as they will get you rid of all the dirt and grime which clog your skin pores.
  • A relaxing massage too will ease out all your stress and will make your skin glow
  • If you cannot afford to go to a spa regularly then why not enjoy the benefits of a spa at home?
  • Use ‘multani mitti’, once a week, to exfoliate your skin. Also, apply a mixture of ‘malai’ and ‘besan’ on your face thrice a week for natural glow.
Choose your soap with care

Soaps are the ones which act as villains when it comes to skin problems. So, if you are using the wrong soap, you are making your poor skin suffer. You should choose a soap which has hydrating properties if you have a dry skin.

  • Those with normal skin should go with a mild soap whereas carbolic soaps are best suited to those with oily skin.
So these were a few skin care tips for grooms. What is the secret of your glowing skin? Share it with other grooms in our comments section.
